Damn, sites are always needing these pesky profiles these days. I don't waste my time actually reading profiles. I prefer to quickly scan them for key words & phrases like 'nymphomaniac','filthy rich','busty', etc. But in case you read 'em, my interests - other than the obvious musical insanity - range from recreational inebriation to introspection & navel gazing.

"Down to earth" and "good sense of humor" are part of my profile; I've been down to earth more than once, usually when leaving my two favorite bars here in Lisbon, and I still think it's funny to get like that, so I must have a good sense of humor.

And for the curious ladies: I'm a nice romantic guy, but I'm also smart and frugal and am not the type to waste our household budget on the transient pleasures of flowers and candy. I prefer to constantly reassure with loving phrases like 'Hey, get yourself a beer while you're there' and 'Here's a couple of euros, why don't you run out to the 24h Convenience Store and buy yourself something nice. The difference between me and all those other guys is that I really mean it, and best of all, I'm not a prick like your last boyfriend...

If you are a prospective IT employer googling me for info, you should disregard all the previous nonsense which I will deny anyway and browse away before anyone notices you Hi5 while at work... you lazy sob.

indie rock/pop, punk, goth, cyber-goth, some metal and industrial electronica. I'm also a big fan of classical including opera. Some jazz is fine. Won't do hip-hop or similar. Amadeus, Almost Famous, Lock;Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels, Das Boot, Final Fantasy, Toy Story and almost every CGI-rich stuff I can catch, usually from Pixar.

Seinfeld was one of the faves. These days I'm not sure. Don't watch TV all that much lately... either there's something better to do or it bores me out of consciousness.

I read too many to pick favorites in a rush. Got piles. Many subjects, but have been reading mostly non-fiction and some biographies, lately more and more audiobooks and increasingly less on dead tree media (slower). Feel free to ask around.
